Click here to download TUESDAY TERROR #02: Neighbors Welcome back to Tuesday Terror! If you missed the first episode, Tuesday Terror is the new Junkie-spawned, fan-fiction anthology based in the Siglerverse. In Scott's novel INFECTED, Perry Dawsey is contaminated with triangular parasites which fall from the sky. He is forced to wage a war, both physical & mental, with himself. Today's story occurs tangential to INFECTED. "Neighbors" is written by Eddy Jones, edited and performed by Arioch Morningstar. Eddy is the author of the novel 7 DAYS and is currently working on the novel UPRISING. You can get a free PDF of 7 DAYS by going to his Lulu page. Some of you may know Eddy better by his Scott Sigler forum handle of ThMaggot. If you're a GFL fan, he's the kicker for the Bartel Water Bugs! Promos in this episode: |

nice work!!
Never been a huge fan of Fan fiction but I am enjoying these a lot!
Good work all round. I look forward to hearing more
Your story rocked !
Loved the way you captured the rage of the infected. Also interesting angle that the sick can screw up the programming of the infected. If I was the government (in the book) these folks would be perfect candidates for experimentation. Especially using terminal patients. Seems like a great way to determine a way to defeat the virus but also a great plot twist would be to have a viable triangle mutation. Especially if it runs amok.
Fan fic has never really been my thing either, .....
but I'm trying to keep the standards of both content and production high to see if we can break the stereotype.

Eddy's story was a pleasure to perform. He's a talented writer.

Great Job Eddy!!
This is exactly what I needed this morning a little twisted, jacked up story to start the day!!Do the day and let the day do you!
Wow. Great feedback, much appreciated.
I'd be more than happy to do something like this again. Arioch's done an awesome job with the audio, thanks man
You're out of luck. Cause this is me not giving a F**k
Yes, I'm hoping I get some more Junkies who read their own work

I'd be happy to have another story from you if you have one
My biggest problem right now is a dearth of content

neighbors
I just finished reading my first Scott Sigler story, Ancestor. So came to the site and decided to listen in to Tuesday night terror, "Neighbors". I thought it was good. Never listened to an audio story before, different, but I liked. Thought the triangle voices were a nice touch. Anyway, glad to happen upon you guys. Ancestor was amazing read it in two days. Scott's really good and I intend to read more of his stories. Hey Junkies any suggestions on my next Sigler read?
Yeah sure
I just thought that wouldn't be fair on other people but if there isn't much content i will
You're out of luck. Cause this is me not giving a F**k
Definitely The rookie if you're into football.
If not, i'd say go 'infected'

If you're looking for treeware to read, I'd say Earthcore,.....
.....but it's a pain to find at an affordable price. If you can't find that, I'd recommend THE ROOKIE. If you like the short audio fiction, I'd check out both volumes of the Bloodcast over at PB.com. You can find all of Scott's work (except NOCTURNAL) over there.

I have several stories that I can't 'cast in a single episode.
I'm anxious to see how folks react to having a two part story versus one that's self contained. If the audience is cool with that format, it will expand what I have to offer quite a bit.

Well done, Sir...
... and another would probably elicit a similar positive response.
Content, Content, Content...
I do understand that Arioch has a dearth of content - as all Junkies love works by the FDØ, then if time permits, give a story a go.
All that can happen is either an acceptance, a polite refusal or a nod that you'll get the story read if you work on it.
I know Fan Fiction is not everyone's 'cup of tea', but it has the blessing of the FDØ and A, so let's see what we can drag up from the recesses of our minds...
Nicely done!
Great story; I really enjoyed it! I love that kind of story that takes place just outside of what you already know or have seen in the mainstream storyline.

Thanks! This one was a lot of fun, even though it took.....
.....much more work than I expected. I now know why Scott generally does not use sound effects. For what they add to the story, the cost benefit ratio is rather steep.
Did you hear any areas in the first two episodes where I can make improvements? I'd love to have some constructive criticism if you have any.

Hmmm....
nothing really stood out; it seemed a pretty clean production. I was surprised with the triangle voice effect, but it was pretty cool - and probably necessary. I think it might have been confusing without the other "voice" to hear, or the "font" to read. I'm not 100% sure but I think some of the attribution in the story was a little vague. A few too many "he"s - I might be mistaken, but I think I got confused at one point as to who was being spoken about.
Man, I'd like to write something too. I keep half-thinking about doing something, but haven't caught an idea that I can run with. :S

Yeah, that is a problem in a couple places with TT #3 as well
I tried to remedy it where I spotted it, but I probably missed a few. Minor stuff like that, I do attempt to fix before recording. Since y'all are listening rather than reading, it's much harder to go back and "re-read."
