How can you have a starship without a chief engineer? You just can't, it's against the rules of science fiction. Therefore, I give you the story of B.W. Crites, a brilliant engineer who has slung a few too many colorful phrases at a few too many officers. Originated by author Greg Crites and edited/modified by the FDO™, this story should give you an idea of what Captain Travis Ellis will be up against when he orders "full speed ahead."

Hey Scott, love the Crypt stories a lot, but I'm not seeing it in the iTunes feed. I also look forward to hearing the AMC blog, thanks for the audio versions!

Looks like Google is down in places

I run the feed through Feedburner.com, owned by Google, which recently switched over to Google account servers and there have been problems. Check back in a few hours, let's see if it works.

Heh! It's bad when someone does your voice better than you do it. I'm kinda ambivalent about this presentation. I mean, people could get the impression I'm offensive, foul-natured, meaner than a flaming paper sack full of Yak turds. Could screw up the whole Kumbaya-Buy-The-World-A-Coke-Then-Choke-The-Shit-Out-Of-Them branding I've worked so hard to cultivate. I gotta have a few drinks and think about the deeper ramifications.
