In a way domesticated animals (dogs, cats, cows) are robots in the sense that they are bred for characteristics that make them operate in an environment - in the same way microsoft word is coded to operate on a windows platform. For me cybernetics etc is fascinating becasue its not so much a study of 'rbotos' per say but more the concept of 'control'
