DAYBREAKERS - cool vampire flick?

Submitted from junkie JP Harvey, a trailer for the vampire film DAYBREAKERS. I tend to bad-mouth most things vampire, but this sounds like a cool concept. Give it a look. I am putting it in the rare "will see in theaters" list.

really cool concept.
Look forward to seeing it. I agree with you JP, most vampire movies are just teeny bopper flicks for romantic girls who live in a fantasy world. well then you have the half-breeds that just can't come to terms with their lives. but this one... I will see it.

I have this recurring nightmare that SyFy (ugh, what a stupid name) will option all of Scotts work and absolutely ruin all of it. In their defense though, for many years they've beendumping the vast majority of their production budget into BSG and the Stargate franchise. Now that those are over (along with pretty much everything that made the channel cool in the first place) maybe they'll crank out better movies.
I mean seriously folks, what in the hell does ECW wrestling have to do with the scifi / fantasy genre? I'd like to strangle the programming director who gave the greenlight to that one.
This looks like a pretty good one though. High production value, at least.

it is "fantasy" wrestling. the only thing real about it is... um....something about blonde and ... no that is not real either... damn I give up. it is all fantasy.

Looks pretty decent...nice cast too.
The last good vampire movie I saw was Lesbian Vampire Killers. Although the name immediately brings images of soft-core porn to most I'm sure, I can assure you this is a legit (albeit comedic) British film. Very funny for those with the means to check it out.
