Creative types, give this a listen

Anyone out there who is busting ass at a creative endeavor or small business, this Nerdist podcast is worth a listen. "Nerdist" is Chris Hardwick (awesome dude), and on this episode he interviews comedian Bill Maher. Politically, I don't agree all that much with Maher, but you have to give mad respect to people who work this hard to get where they are.

If you're a creative type, you're going to eat a lot of shit for a long time before anything happens for you.

At about 40 minutes in, Chris and Maher start to talk politics. If you don't dig the guy, turn it off here. IF you do dig him, enjoy!

PS: Yes, you will laugh when Maher talks about "living in a slum while attending Cornell." Hmmm. I'm guessing people have varying definitions on what a "slum" is.

I *love* this podcast!

I don't know what rock I've been under but I've never heard of Chris Hardwick...but thanks to the FDO, I listened to this podcast while doing some god awful boring tasks at work. This was the most amusing, nerdy, podcast I've heard in a while. I love that it can go from amusing to insightful in a second. Thanks for the recommendation, FDO...this rocks!
