I can't believe its over?

I am still reeling over the loss that occured in this final episode of Contagious.

Leaves me giddy in anticipation for the future release of Pandemic.

Here is proof that the FDO loves to torture me...or anyone for that matter. I get a DM on twitter from him that runs the knife of anticipation through my heart, and as I arrive home from a weekend away giddy that the finale is out, the knife twists in my chest as I get a download error. Epic FAIL.

Ok finally got it

I am just blown away by that ending. I cried, I'll admit it.

Damn Scott... I've never cried over a character in a book. You sir are very good. Not just an excellent author, but an excellent storyteller as well. I mean, I consider King one of the best authors of the genre, but I doubt I would be able to stand listening to him for more than a few minutes, ya know?

You ever thought about trying your hand at acting? I bet you'd be really good. Plus what better way to control the masses than through the Hollywood Entertainment Machine®? :)

The End? I'm glad it's not.

As testament to the power of Scott’s storytelling I keep thinking about the final episode. I know this is book two in a trilogy, but it was good enough it could have been an ending. And Scott took some amazing risks! Moving on will require a lot of new character development that is uncommon in a trilogy – at least on this scale.

Book one in this series was good, but not as much my cup of tea as stories like Nocturnal, but book two was an amazing story that is amongst my favorites.
